Mumbai Local Train Hadsa: Ek Dukhbhari Kahani

Kal subah, 9 June 2025, Mumbai ke local train network mein ek bada hadsa ho gaya, jismein kam se kam char logon ki jaan chali gayi aur kai ghayal ho gaye. Yeh tragedy Diva aur Mumbra stations ke beech hui, jab do fast local trains, ek Kasara ki taraf aur doosri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) ki taraf ja rahi thi, ek doosre ke bahut kareeb se guzri. Overcrowding ki wajah se footboard pe latke passengers ek doosre se takra gaye, aur iske nateeje mein kai log gir pade. Yeh hadsa subah ke peak office hours mein hua, jab Mumbai ki local trains mein hamesha bheed hoti hai.

Kya Hua Tha?

Central Railway ke officials ke mutabik, yeh accident tab hua jab dono trains ke passengers, jo footboard pe khade the, ek doosre se collide kar gaye. Ek eyewitness, Dipak Shirsat, ne bataya ki ek commuter ka bag doosre train ke passengers se takraya, jisse ek domino effect hua aur log ek ke baad ek girne lage. “Main apne dost Ketan Saroj ke saath Shahad se Airoli ja raha tha. Ek chhoti si push ne sab kuch badal diya. Ketan gir gaya aur uski jaan chali gayi,” Dipak ne dukh ke saath kaha.

Railway police constable Vicky Babasaheb Mukhyadal bhi is hadse ka shikar bane. Woh Thane GRP mein kaam karte the aur apne duty ke liye ja rahe the jab yeh tragedy hui. Unke parivaar ka dukh dekhkar sabka dil toot gaya.

Bheed: Mumbai Locals ka Narak

Mumbai ka suburban railway network, jo city ki lifeline kehlata hai, har roz lakho passengers ko carry karta hai. Lekin iski ek badi problem hai – super dense crush load. Yeh bheed hi is hadse ka sabse bada karan bani. Ek passenger, Machhindra Gondhane, ne kaha, “Main 7-8 saal se local train se safar kar raha hoon, lekin aisa kabhi nahi dekha.”

Sarkaar aur Railways ka Jawab

Maharashtra ke Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ne is hadse par dukh vyakt kiya aur investigation ka order diya. Unhone X pe likha, “Yeh bahut hi dukhad hai ki Diva-Mumbra ke beech 8 passengers train se gir gaye aur kuch ki jaan chali gayi. Hum unke parivaar ke dukh mein shamil hain.” Deputy CM Ajit Pawar ne bhi isko ek bada wake-up call kaha, jo Mumbai ke rail system mein safety issues ko dikhata hai.

Railway Board ne announce kiya hai ki ab se Mumbai Suburban ke liye banne wali sabhi trains mein automatic door closure facility hogi. Yeh ek acha step hai, lekin sawal yeh hai – kya yeh jaldi implement hoga? Aur kya yeh overcrowding ke issue ko solve kar payega?

Aam Aadmi ka Dard

Yeh hadsa sirf ek accident nahi, balki Mumbai ke har us insaan ki kahani hai jo roz local train mein latakta hai, apni jaan jokhim mein daal kar kaam pe jata hai. Ek social worker from Diva ne kaha, “Humne 2022 mein 10,000 signatures ke saath memorandum diya tha, lekin ab tak koi progress nahi.” Logon ka gussa aur frustration badhta ja raha hai, kyunki railway administration ke paas in problems ka koi solid solution nahi dikh raha.

Aage Kya?

Yeh tragedy humein sochne pe majboor karti hai – Mumbai ke local trains ko safe banane ke liye kya karna chahiye? Kya zyada trains chalani chahiye? Kya tracks aur coaches badhane chahiye? Ya phir automatic doors hi iska jawab hain? Ek baat toh clear hai – jab tak overcrowding ka issue solve nahi hoga, aise hadse hote rahenge.

Is hadse ne Mumbai ke dil ko jhanjhor diya hai. Hum sabko ek saath aake yeh demand karni hogi ki railway system mein safety pe focus kiya jaye. Har passenger ka haq hai ek safe aur comfortable safar ka. Kya hum apne leaders se yeh sawal poochhenge? Kya hum is tragedy se kuch seekhenge?
